Trello organizes work into boards of cards that a team can comment on, label, and assign. Connecting it to AppSignal lets you turn an error incident into a Trello card. Trello is a personal integration: each person with access to an app who wants to use this feature has to complete these steps themselves. Website: https://trello.com

Adding Trello to your app

Trello works with OAuth, so you don’t need to manually enter any API tokens.
  1. Open the Trello integration screen for the app you want to link. Under Configure Trello integration, select Link AppSignal to Trello.
  2. Trello opens an authorization window. Review the access AppSignal requests and select Allow.
  3. You return to AppSignal with your Trello account linked. Choose the Trello board you want to create cards on to finish the setup.
If anything goes wrong while validating the integration, you’ll be prompted with the error message. Feel free to contact us if you experience any problems while setting up this integration.

Create Trello cards for incidents

Once Trello is connected, you can create a Trello card for an error incident:
  1. Open the error incident’s details screen.
  2. In the Actions panel, select Send to Trello.
AppSignal creates a card for the incident on your linked board, and you can open it from the incident page afterwards.

Revoking access

Trello is part of Atlassian, and its account settings span several pages. To disconnect AppSignal from your Trello account, open your Trello personal settings, scroll to the applications section, and revoke the AppSignal application.
