Linux package

To update the agent, upgrade the package:
  • On Debian and Ubuntu, run apt-get update, then apt-get install --only-upgrade appsignal-agent.
  • On Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS, run yum update appsignal-agent.
The package restarts the agent for you.

Docker image

To update, pull the latest image with docker pull appsignal/agent and recreate the container. Restarting the container does not pull a new image. If you pin a version tag, change it to the new one.
