# Upgrading AppSignal Wrap

> Update appsignal-wrap to the latest release to get updates, bug, and security fixes.

New releases include updates, bug and security fixes, so keep AppSignal up to date. To update, run the installation command again:

```bash Bash theme={null}
curl -sSL https://github.com/appsignal/appsignal-wrap/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sudo sh
```

It replaces `appsignal-wrap` with the latest release. Restart any long-running process you started with `appsignal-wrap`.

If you installed `appsignal-wrap` manually, download the latest release for your operating system and architecture from the [GitHub releases page](https://github.com/appsignal/appsignal-wrap/releases/latest/). Then install it manually to your server's `$PATH`.
