# PagerDuty

> PagerDuty is een uitstekende tool om ervoor te zorgen dat de juiste persoon wordt geïnformeerd wanneer er een fout optreedt.

[PagerDuty](https://www.pagerduty.com) is een uitstekende tool om ervoor te zorgen dat de juiste persoon wordt geïnformeerd wanneer er een fout optreedt.

AppSignal stuurt meldingen naar PagerDuty wanneer er performanceproblemen of fouten optreden. Nieuwe deploys worden niet naar PagerDuty verzonden.

## Installatie

AppSignal heeft een `Integration Key` van PagerDuty nodig om meldingen over fouten en performance te kunnen versturen.

U kunt de `Integration Key` verkrijgen door een "Integration" toe te voegen via "Service" > "Service Directory" > "New service".

Zorg ervoor dat bij Integrations "Events API V2" is geselecteerd. De overige gegevens kunt u naar eigen inzicht invullen.

Nadat u het formulier hebt opgeslagen, ziet u de `Integration Key`.

Gebruik deze sleutel op het AppSignal PagerDuty-integratieformulier.

Controleer na het opslaan of de integratie werkt door op "Test hook" te klikken. Als alles goed gaat, zou er een incident in PagerDuty geactiveerd moeten worden.
